Watermelon Milkshake® IPA

Back in 2014, we traveled to Pennsylvania to brew with Tired Hands at a time when both of us were experimenting with beers that critics said looked like milkshakes. Instead of resisting, we embraced the comparison and decided to brew a true milkshake IPA intentionally. Ten years later, we are revisiting that style with a larger-scale release from our church. Watermelon was our chosen fruit for this revival because of its fresh, summery character. Combined with vanilla, milk sugar, and balanced hopping, it creates a nostalgic yet modern beer that celebrates our shared history with this playful category.
